What is so special about the township of Letlhabile? First it was the complex, then later the mall and now the flea market. Is the complex and the mall not enough for the entire population of Letlhabile?
Perhaps somebody in Madibeng is busy creating nonexistent projects in order to steal the funds. Our municipality is well-known to many for corruption. On a constant basis, the money is used on unwanted matters instead of being used on basic needs.
Many areas in Madibeng are without water yet so many millions are being wasted by individuals. The flea market worth R7-million is planned to be established at wards, 9, 11, 12, 35. Of course, the flea market will benefit most of the residents and create jobs.
The question remains as to whether the community will ever see the existence of the so-called flea market. Who will receive a cut of the R7-million allocated to the flea market? Our municipality is known by many for “helping themselves.”
