Members of the Roman Catholic Church are pleading with the public to help Ntate Piet, who is also a church member, to find a proper home.
The story about Ntate Piet was released in the Madibeng Times, year 5, issue 16. This involved a 60-year-old man residing at Doornkop in Maboloka who had been very ill and had to live alone.
A Zimbabwean citizen with no identity document and unable to walk and speak properly survived by the assistance of Josphina Mthethwa, who was providing him with food and other essentials.
“We had been trying our best to find Ntate Piet’s family and to assist him financially. Despite the fact that he is a Zimbabwean citizen, we plead with the public to further assistance. What he need is to find a suitable place such as an old Age home, where he can receive proper treatment and eat healthy,” she says. He has been staying in Maboloka for years now and we do not know much about him,” she adds.
The community pleads with anyone who can help find his family, identify him, or help in anyway to contact them on 0722303490.
