Not so long ago, the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) after gaining entry into parliament through the ballot box, introduced a new dress code aimed to be a reflection of the majority of their supporters.
After initial resistance, their uniform was eventually accepted. Consider the implications, just imagine president Zuma wearing his zulu traditional clothing in parliament and everybody following suit by wearing their own traditional clothing in parliament. That would be the day, parliamentarians no longer wearing fancy designer suits and following traditions even in public places. Maybe this will also create peace and harmony in parliament.
